I am so happy that you are here.
I’m Morgan Mathews and welcome to my blog! I always have such a hard time writing these things. I feel like I am writing a quote for my senior yearbook picture or something… but I am going give it a go!
I love creating art. I love turning photos into art. There is something so magical, captivating, and fulfilling for me to do what I do. I love capturing these little ones the way that they are right now… not in a few months but right now. I love their personalities, their sweetness, their bright smiles, dimple cheeks, toothless gummy smiles, and the outlook they can give on life. I believe they are our greatest and most precious gifts. I feel that creating images for you is like capturing happiness and a memory that will never happen again but can always be remembered and relived while looking at that photograph. How lucky am I that I am to do that for a job? It really is incredible and such an honor to work with each precious newborn, darling baby, and sweet child that comes to visit me.
I have 3 sweet, adorable, wild, rough and tumble boys and one darling little girl. They keep me on my toes, but they love me more than anything and I love them just as much if not more. My kids have forever changed me and I have become a lot more brave, a little less modest, and overall a changed person.
I have been married to my best friend for the past 15 years. It hasn’t an easy 15 years, but I can say it has been worth every moment. Being able to ride this crazy life with him, raise our kids together, and build our dreams has been nothing short of amazing. I am forever grateful that I convinced him to marry me. When we first met each other we pretty much hated each other. We are the most opposite people in almost every possible way. He is an accountant and loves math, numbers, and logic. I am a photographer and could spend hours in art museums, reading, and just creating in any way that I can. BUT we compliment each other and balance each other out. I am really lucky to have found him and at such a young age.
I have a seriously deep love for candy. Really… I love candy and all kinds…. gummy, chocolate, sweet, sour, licorice (but not black licorice only red vines). Every time we go on a trip I come home with bags and bags of candy. I am currently on a diet where I can’t eat any candy and I feel like part of me is missing. Seriously.
I LOVE Disneyland. I could go every month and not get bored. I love everything about it. The rides, the characters, the shows, watching my boys enjoy every magical moment, and we can’t forget about the food. I mean really… they have great candy and their turkey legs… I pretty much dream about them.
It would be an honor to work with your family. Browse the website and please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you have!
