Reno Newborn Photography Session | Miss Madi
Miss Madi was the very last newborn that I was able to photograph before the covid shutdown. It was the perfect Reno newborn photography session to have before my three month break. The best part is that Madi’s mom and I have been friend since we were 14. It is always such a honor to be able to photograph these sweet newborns for my dear friends.
When I first started in the newborn photography world I was a mom to two little boys. I love my boys with all my heart, but I always missed being able to buy headbands and other girlie things. Needless to say being able to photograph newborn girls was a huge treat for me! I loved being able to buy all the cute things and use them for my newborn girl photography.
Another fun fact is that Madi’s sister was one of the first dozen of newborn photography sessions I had ever done. Almost 9 years later I was able to do Madi’s newborn girl photography session. I am so lucky that I grew up in Reno Nevada and am able to still connect with people I grew up with.
Madi’s Newborn Session
I know everyone loves reading all of my history and memories, but onto what you all came here for, the beautiful girl and her images from her session. Sweet Madi loved to be snuggled and I was all for it. One of my favorite parts of newborn photography sessions are all the snuggles I get to enjoy.
Madi didn’t love all the poses we tried out during her newborn girl photography session. I approach each newborn session with the mind set that if baby doesn’t love it we don’t do it.
The first pose we tried with Madi was froggy and she did not like it. We moved onto several other poses and we got so many darling images for her mom. At the end of the session I tried groggy one last time and she decided she would let us. We were thrilled since mom really wanted froggy. Some times it just takes patience and time to get the perfect image.
