Child Photographer in Reno Nevada | Emmalyn
Emmalyn’s mom and I have known each other for a really long time. We met when we were 14 years old. I moved to Reno when I was 13, and she and another girl were my first real friends here. The great part is that I am still friends with these lovely girls. I remember when I first moved here and I felt so totally alone. Before we had moved here, I had lived in my last house since I was five. I had the same friends that whole time, and had never thought of what it would be like to be with out them. It was a really hard time for me to go from that situation to knowing no one and having no family in a new place.
Thankfully, I found these two friends and everything turned around from there. Sometimes, having a good friend, or having a good positive experience is just the thing to help you. Emmalyn’s mom called me the other day to tell me that Emmalyn was having a hard time with her self confidence.
When she told me that, it honestly broke my heart. I instantly remembered what it was like when I had gone through low times as a child and teenager. I sent her a message and suggested that we do a photoshoot for her. I wanted her to feel special and amazing. Not only that, I wanted her to have a picture that she loved, in her bedroom. That way, when she was feeling lonely or sad she could look at that picture and remember her special day.
Have a great Tuesday everyone! Try and make today a great day.
