Oh my goodness, photographing Harrison’s baby pictures was absolute perfection. Harrison was the sweetest baby and didn’t mind being moved and posed. One of the challenges of being a baby photographer in Boise is some babies only loved to be swaddled. Thankfully I have been doing baby pictures for 11 years and have some tricks up my sleeve.

One of the things that mom and dad requested were detail pictures. It’s not a request I get all the time, so I was thrilled to change things up and take them. I really loved the detail shot of his hair. He has the cutest little swirl at his hair line.

When you book your newborn baby pictures with me, I like to send out a questionnaire. This asked questions that helps me to get a better idea of what you are wanting for your baby pictures. Once the questionnaire is filled out I usually have some follow up emails to verify. There’s also on a open to hop on the phone and chat about what you are wanting.

Prop choice is an important choice! Buckets and my little white bed seem to be the most requested. If you ask me, a baby in a bucket is the cutest thing ever.
