Being able to take pictures of these sweet Boise babies for their first birthdays is so much fun. When babies are close to their first birthdays they are so full of personality. The photo session can be a little more challenging because most of the time they are mobile and would rather move around than sit still. It’s a mix of mom and dad putting them back in their seats and me taking pictures, singing songs, and doing whatever we need to for great pictures.

Boise First Birthday Pictures

This little guy came to see me recently and he was hilarious! Mom asked if we could take pictures of him in a different outfit and with a different set up before his cake smash. She wanted some pictures to celebrate his first birthday with out the cake. I absolutely love when mom wants to do pictures with out the cake. We can get more variety and by the time we pull the cake out they are ready for it!

Grandma came to help us out with this session and it was so nice to have a few people to get his attention that he knew loved. Mr. M was so cute and did an amazing job with his first birthday pictures. While we did these dad made his balloon arch for his cake smash. We had so many cute pictures I decided to split his blog post up into two. One for his regular first birthday pictures and one for his cake smash.
