Being a Boise Id newborn photographer has been such a joy. It just came to me that I have been writing blog posts for ten years. That is a lot of newborns and sessions to write about. When I was first starting my newborn photography business.  I remember thinking that ten years in business would be such a huge milestone. As the ten year milestone came and then passed, I honestly didn’t even realize it. Not because I don’t think it’s special or important that I have been able to be in business for so many years. At some point in my career it switched from being about me and my accomplishments and moved towards these babies and their families.

As the new year approaches I like to reflect on my personal life and also my business. What things have worked for me, my family, these sweet newborns, and their families. On the other side, what things can I work on and be better at in the next year? Owning a business is a constant evolution which can be painful and hard at times. As my kids have gotten older my focus has really changed to being able to provide an experience for my clients. I have been working so hard the last few months to set my business up for success in the new year and I am so excited.

Enough of all my crazy business chat that I love so much. Onto this sweet little man and his darling pictures. This little newborn boy was such a joy to work with. At first he wanted to be snuggled up tight. As he got use to the whole process he did amazing. He still preferred to be snuggled, but with the help of a pacifier we were able to get all the pictures his moms wanted.
