This little man came to see me when he was two weeks old. He was awake for the first little bit of his session. It was so fun to see him checking out everything. Little man could only hang out for so long before falling into a deep sleep. We were able to get some darling baby pictures once he decided sleeping was a great idea!

I try to let parents know that every session looks different. It’s rare that you are going to get 3 props, ten different poses on three different backdrops all in two hours. That’s not really something that happens often. Every once in awhile I will get a unicorn baby that doesn’t care what is going on and we can do that. For the mass majority I have parents pick their must haves and then we go from there.

Boise Idaho Baby Pictures

One of the things that can really be a bummer for baby pictures are unrealistic expectations. Sometimes baby doesn’t like a pose that mom and dad really want, sometimes they book last minute and I don’t have time to order a prop or something they really want, and a million other things.

During the booking process I try to communicate the best I can to make sure we are on the same page. Making sure we can get the best baby pictures possible is always my goal. I was so happy that we were able to get some adorable pictures of this little one for his mom.

Now to his darling pictures! I loved all of his dark hair. I had a really hard time covering it up with different hats. His darling bear bonnet is from Mama Knits and the backdrop is from Hello Little Props.
