How cute are these darling siblings? Being a child and sibling photographer in Boise is one of my favorite things. Aside from being a mom.  Mom wanted pictures done of her baby and we were able to get some pictures of her older brother too. Getting sibling pictures can be tricky, but the effort is always worth it.

Being a child photographer is a little different than taking pictures of babies. Instead of making funny noises and singing songs we have to do other things to get those smiles. We tell a lot of jokes, ask them about their interest, friends, or anything else that they might find amazing or funny. I have been known to ask them if their parents have stinky feet. It’s nothing personal; anything to get a smile.

This session was the best of both worlds. We were able to get updated pictures of brother, baby sister, and sibling pictures. When doing sibling pictures I like to start with them first. They can be the tricker part of your child’s photo session. If we can get it done first, then it is usually smoother sailing from there.
