Oh my goodness, this newborn baby girl was so precious. She might have been the tiniest newborn baby I have done photos of since coming to Boise. Mom didn’t book her newborn photo session until after baby M was born. She was so nervous I wouldn’t have room in my schedule. Thankfully, I was able to squeeze her in!

One of the questions I get asked most often, is when should I book my newborn session. It’s a really great question, and my answer is sooner than later. I recommend booking your newborn or baby photos sometime in your second or third trimester.

I try to keep a few holes in my schedule for rescheduling sick sessions, newborns that come early, and babies that come late. Even if you haven’t booked your session ahead of time; please reach out to see if I have any open spots! One of my goals this year is to post on social media what my availability looks like. That way it’s a little easier to figure out what newborn bookings are looking like for your due date.
