Garden City Newborn Photography | Cole
As a Garden City Newborn photographer, I am always So excited for each newborn session that I have. Seriously! I thought that eventually the major excitement would wear off at some point but so far it hasn’t. My first few newborn sessions I seriously thought I was going to be sick. I was so nervous that I wouldn’t be able to get the pictures that I wanted or that the parents wanted. I am a huge overachiever so that thought of not being able to capture someone’s newborn baby in a way that wasn’t great was just devastating to me. Fortunately, as the years have gone by that sick feeling has passed and I really just look forward to each sweet, darling, squishy newborn that I am able to work with.
This little man, Cole, was a little bit older than I usually do sessions for. He was almost 3 weeks. I try my hardest to get all my babies in before they are 2 weeks old, but sometimes that isn’t possible and you just have to go with it! Fortunately for me… he was as sweet as could be. He got a little bit mad at me, but with some coaxing and snuggling I finally won him over. 😉
I am always so honored when someone chooses me to photograph their newborn. They are several newborn photographers here in Garden City Boise area and I know that my clients could pick any of them. They are all fantastic and great at what they do, so it really truly is such a humbling and sweet moment for me. This sweet mom and dad are very special to me. I met Cole’s mom when I was 18 (almost 10 years ago). We were working for an after school program. I remember when she started dating this guy 😉 , who she later married, and then had this sweet baby with. It was the best thing to not only watch this sweet girl that I have known become a mother, but to watch her and her sweetheart love on their new baby.
Cole’s aunt made him this darling camo blanket.
I love their rings on his little toes…
